Employees prefer a team building than a day off
18/06/2010
Given the chance, more employees would go for team building than a day off
At least that’s what the folks at OPP (workplace psychologists) found in a recent study. The study also revealed that one-third of all employees in the UK have never been a part of any sort of team building activity even though they would like to.
30% of the workers surveyed in the research felt their jobs and workplaces would really benefit from team building activities. A surprising statistic produced by the study is that only 11% of all people would prefer a day off to a team building activity. This is largely due to the recent surge in team building activities that take place outside the workplace. Employees get to kick back, relax and enjoy outside the workplace while being a part of a feel good team building exercise.
