Team Building event: The X-pert Factor
13/06/2010

Just how many
team building events should a company carry out?
According to a leading expert at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Mike Emmott, the answer is: as many as possible. His words to the firms out there are “that you can never do enough
team building events”.
The employee relations adviser believes that team building is most certainly worth the cost. He further goes on to state that:
"Whatever it (the
teambuilding event) is, if it is done in a group (and) in an informal way, it can help build bonds and (develop) slightly better relationships between people”.
Emmot also expressed the thought that an activity that lets team participants loosen up, get comfortable, talk to each other and have discussions HAS to be a good thing for a team by definition.
The Good Time Company also believes that organizing
team building events should be a standard company practice.
To take the edge off it, The Good Time Company 2CV rally is designed in a way to pack in a lot of fun for team members, as well as "normal" meetings. With the entertainment quotient held so high, your team members would want to participate no matter how many times you schedule the rally!
